Every day, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance relies on the generosity of local people to keep our helicopters flying and critical care teams responding.

Our Face-to-Face Fundraisers are an important part of that support. By speaking directly with people across Dorset and Somerset, they help us share the impact of our work, explain how regular payments support our life-saving service, and answer any questions in person.

You may see our team:

• Door-to-door, visiting households across the region
• At supermarkets, retail venues or hospitals, where we host promotional stands

Our fundraisers invite supporters to join our Lottery or set up a Regular Gift by Direct Debit — two simple ways to provide steady, reliable funding that helps save lives.

When someone suffers a life-threatening injury or medical emergency, every second counts. Regular support through our Lottery or a monthly donation helps fund:

Your Safety and Peace of Mind

Our fundraisers:

• Wear branded clothing and carry photographic ID
• Use secure tablets to safely process Direct Debit details
• Are fully trained to be respectful and non-intrusive

For your security, we use LFS Datasafe® handheld devices. All data is encrypted, managed in accordance with GDPR and data protection laws, and securely transferred upon submission. If a device is lost or stolen, the information cannot be accessed. We never share your data with third parties.

We adhere to the highest standards set by the Fundraising Regulator, the Gambling Commission, and the Data Protection Act 2018, with regular training in place to maintain compliance.

Our fundraisers will never ask for or accept cash.
