Supporting local charities and communities Dextra Group is passionate about community support and actively engages with local businesses, organisations, and charities. Each year, a set of local charities is selected by their employees, and for the last 13 years, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance (DSAA) has been their charity of choice. During this time, Dextra has donated £180,724.27 to DSAA, significantly contributing to their life-saving work. Why Dextra continues to support DSAA Natasha Ward, COO of Dextra Group, explained why the company continues to support DSAA:“DSAA is a charity which is extremely important to us. As a company, we have had first-hand experience of the vital role it plays in saving and enhancing lives. Anyone, anywhere, can become a patient at any time – we are fully committed and proud to offer our continued support to DSAA and the amazing work that their entire team undertakes.” Increased annual donation following airbase visit Georgia Beard, Corporate Partnerships Lead at DSAA, expressed gratitude for Dextra’s long-standing support. She shared, “We invited Natasha to visit our airbase back in February, so that she could see how Dextra’s charitable donations were being used to improve our service and help save lives. Following the visit, Dextra kindly increased their annual donation to the substantial amount of £25,000. This donation equates to nearly one full day of operations for DSAA and is an extremely special gift, for which we are so grateful.” Learn how your company can support DSAA by visiting our Corporate Partnerships page.
