Help make a difference in your community Since March this year, DSAA has partnered with Recycling Solutions, a family-run textile recycling company. Together, we’re on a mission to keep textiles out of landfill and raise vital funds to support our life-saving work. You might have spotted our bright yellow clothing banks across Dorset and Somerset. We have a grand total of 98 – and counting! But we’re not stopping there. We’re now looking for more local hosts to join the initiative and help us grow. Why host a textile recycling bank It’s simple to setup. All that’s needed is a suitable outdoor location and access for members of the public to donate their unwanted textiles and permission from the landowner. The recycling banks are fully managed. Recycling Solutions ensures that the banks are serviced at least once a week and are kept clean and tidy by their expert drivers. They are fitted with anti-theft locks to ensure that funds raised from clothing and shoe donations make their way to DSAA and continue to aid our life-saving mission. Recycling unwanted textiles is a sustainable choice. By reducing landfill and supporting reuse, you’re helping the planet and your community. Help keep us flying and saving lives.
