Our Impact News Seaside Scramble rescheduled for May DSAA is pleased to announce the rescheduled date for our highly anticipated new event, Seaside Scramble. This exciting 5k obstacle course event is now set to take place at Baiter Park, Poole, on Saturday 9th of May 2026. Originally planned for September 2025, the event was briefly postponed due to unforeseen circumstances and ongoing site works that affected the planned route. We have since worked closely with local partners to resolve the issues and ensure the event can be delivered safely and to the high standard expected. Seaside Scramble is an action packed 5K obstacle course, designed for all ages and abilities, with an assortment of air ambulance themed obstacles guaranteed to get you giggling as you run, climb, crawl and scramble your way to the finish line. Whether you're teaming up with family, having a laugh with friends, or bonding with colleagues, Seaside Scramble offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled day by the coast, all while supporting a vital life-saving charity. Alana Hardy, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance Events Officer said: “We’re thrilled to announce that Seaside Scramble has officially been rescheduled – and we’re ready to bring this exciting new event to Poole this May! While it was disappointing to postpone, the experience of our participants is always our top priority. This May we will deliver the fantastic event we originally envisioned, in a location that means so much to us. Approximately one third of our life-saving missions take place in the Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole area, and as a charity that receives no direct government funding, every mission we fly is made possible by the generosity of our supporters. We can’t wait to welcome everyone – get ready for a fantastic day of sun, sea, and scrambling!” Sign up today! Grab your friends, family, or coworkers and be part of this fantastic new event. Seaside Scramble is set to be one of the highlights of the year! We encourage all participants to raise £50 in sponsorship in support of our life-saving work. Tickets are available now.
