The Big Keepy Uppy Challenge Terms and Conditions General These terms and conditions apply to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance’s ‘The Big Keepy Uppy Challenge’. By registering for and participating in this challenge, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Eligibility The Challenge is open to UK residents only. Participants under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Child Participants If you are the parent, or legal guardian, of a child under the age of 18: You are responsible for supervising their participation. You confirm that you have read and accepted these terms on their behalf. You accept responsibility for their compliance with these terms. You are responsible for any fundraising activity carried out in their name. If you have any questions or complaints about a Challenge, please email [email protected] Registration and Participation You will need to set up a JustGiving fundraising page – on completion of the registration form, you will be directed to complete this. There is no registration fee to take part in the challenge. Participation must be lawful and carried out in a safe and responsible manner. Accessibility and Support from DSAA Challenges are designed so that you can complete them in your own time and in your own way. We provide information about this challenge on our website and may provide fundraising materials for you to download. Please note copyright of all materials we provide is owned by (or licensed to) DSAA, you should not use DSAA’s logo except as included as part of the fundraising materials. Upon signing up to take part in this challenge you will receive a welcome letter, a tracker to enable you to keep count of your keepy uppy’s and a sponsorship form. By participating in the challenge, you are fundraising ‘in aid of DSAA’. Health and Safety You are responsible for ensuring that you (and any child participant in your care) are physically fit. If you have any concerns about your health, you should seek advice from a General Practitioner prior to signing up to take part in the challenge. You must take reasonable steps to ensure your own safety and that of others. You are also responsible for ensuring you, or your child (in the case of parents or legal guardians of child participants), wear appropriate attire, including footwear, when taking part in the challenge. Notwithstanding the steps above, you acknowledge that conditions or circumstances beyond our control can lead to unforeseen risks. Social media By posting any content on social media you acknowledge and agree to the following: You will abide by terms and conditions of the platform provider. You must not share excessive personal data. You must ensure that any content shared complies with UK data protection laws. Rights and Permissions By sharing content, you grant DSAA a royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable, perpetual and worldwide licence. We may alter, cut, add to and/or edit your content in any manner, and/or combine your content with other materials, without seeking further permission from you. Third parties may use, edit and/or reproduce the content in the course of supporting DSAA and its work. You agree that: you own the copyright and waive any moral rights in the content, or that you have obtained all necessary rights, consents and/or waivers from the owner to upload the content. you are the person featured in the content and/or you have permission from any person(s) appearing in your content (and, if they are under 16, their parent or legal guardian as well); and our use of your content in accordance with these terms and conditions will not violate any other rights of any third party or any law. Retention Period DSAA will keep all content in line with its retention period of ten years. After this point we will continue to store the content for our historical record but will contact you again to ask your permission should we wish to re-use it. DSAA may remove any content posted by you – including, but not limited to, you not complying with these terms and conditions. Free Prize Draw Each signed up participant will be entered into a prize draw to win a ‘signed AFC Bournemouth football’ (signed by the 25/26 season squad). Free Prize Draw - Winner Selection Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries on Monday 20th July 2026 using a random selection generator. The winner will be notified by email within five working days of the draw taking place. Winners MUST claim their prize by responding to notification email within five working days of the date of the notification email. Failure to claim the prize will result in another winner being selected. There will be no cash alternative. The winners name may be announced publicly via our website, social media and in our Beeline magazine. Participants may request anonymity where appropriate. Fundraising and Donations To help us reach more people who need our help sooner, we ask you to raise funds for DSAA by participating in the Challenge. All funds raised must be paid to DSAA as soon as reasonably practicable but no later than Monday 3rd August 2026. Funds raised are help on trust for DSAA. Participants must ensure donations are handled securely and transparently. All participants have a legal responsibility to ensure that all sponsorship monies/donations received in connection with a Challenge are paid to DSAA and we ask that you do this as soon as possible after your Challenge finishes. Money pledged via online fundraising pages is collected automatically. Other ways to pay in sponsorship monies/donations are as follows: Call 01823 669604 and provide the name of the Challenge you have participated in and credit or debit card details to make a payment over the phone. Send cheques made payable to "DSAA" to: DSAA, Landacre House, Castle Road, Chelston Business Park, Wellington, Somerset, TA21 9JQ Via our website - https://www.dsairambulance.org.uk/donate/donate-appeal/credit-card Please ensure that all sponsorship forms are filled out in full and are returned to us to enable Gift Aid to be claimed where possible. Personal Data By providing your information when you sign up for this challenge, we will use this information for the purposes of administering the Challenge, and DSAA may also contact you to discuss your fundraising activity and follow up on your progress. If you provide personal information on behalf of additional challenge participants, please only provide this if they have confirmed that they are happy for you to do so as we will use this information for the same purposes. Your personal information may also be used for the purposes of sending communications to you where you have confirmed that you would like to receive further information about DSAA’s work when registering for a Challenge. Data will be handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation and will be managed in line with our privacy statement which can be viewed on our website, https://www.dsairambulance.org.uk/privacy-statement Liability Participation is at your own risk. DSAA shall not be liable for any injury, damage or loss to you or your property that may occur as a result of your participation in the challenge, except where such liability arises from: Negligence; or Any liability which cannot be excluded by law. You must ensure that you have obtained consent from the owner of any privately owned land or premises where you wish to carry out this challenge. General Legal DSAA reserves the right to amend or withdraw the challenge. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
